AITA for not telling my SIL I was going to be a month late with her wedding dress and not telling my daughter I was going to throw out all her stuff?

My SIL ordered a custom wedding dress from me. I’m a seamtress/dressmaker. The dress had to be done by April 1st; her wedding is April 15th. I was having some issues with the dress and had to remake parts of it by hand (totally my fault I fucked up). It was the most elaborate dress I’d ever made (a Disney princess-like gown) and I wanted to make sure it was perfect. I also got very sick at the end of March which really set me back. I didn’t want to tell her that I’d be a month late (May 1st) because I figured she’d panic. She called me the day before her wedding to check in and I told her the truth and offered to help pay for a simpler dress from David’s Bridal but she went and bought something off the rack from Nordstrom.

My daughter (35) lives in NYC and has been begging her brother and his wife to let her move in with them while she gets on her feet. Her brother and SIL finally relented but only if she got rid of most of her stuff. I’m talking like 5 storage units worth. I promised her I’d take a few things but in reality I threw everything out. She is very upset and is calling me an asshole.

AITA?
