I don't hate the artwork, I hate catgirls as characters

I've found that catgirls are always obnoxious, annoying and useless when they're in a story. They're very often there just for their cuteness and they're usually not well-written characters. I've never met someone who likes catgirls but also likes a good story, and I find catgirls much more bearable when they're alone, like in some random horny doujin, but when they're in a real narrative it's just so fucking annoying to see them.<br><br>Same principle applies to kemonomimi characters in general, but catgirls get the worst of it.
