What is the funniest thing you found in your world's history?

When creating my world, I found it incredibly helpful to create dates that happen only between two or three characters. It's very interesting to start with a very specific date (ex: January 1, 1823) and work forward from there, letting the story evolve.

A good example of this is when two leaders were discussing religion, and one accidentally stole a book from the other, which lead to a war that lasted over 200 years. Or when a random meeting between two leaders lead to a war that lasted over 2000 years, and only ended because a third leader came in and saw how stupid they were being, and was able to help them figure it out. (Sometimes I wonder if humans would need an alien to come down and smack them on the head, and be like "hey guys, this isn't that hard")

So, what is the funniest thing you found in your world's history?
