What if Earth was the AI model everyone was training?

Let's say every single person on the planet is unknowingly being trained to get to a point where their thoughts, words and actions could accurately create an AI. The entire human race's thoughts, words and actions are used to create a highly advanced AI model capable of simulating human consciousness. <br><br>This would be accomplished by having trillions of humans, each in a simulated environment (Earth), unknowingly giving the necessary data for the AI to train. When we die, the data is collected and the AI model is fine-tuned. Death would be a method of getting us to a point where the data is good enough for the AI model to accurately predict human consciousness. <br><br>Of course this is hypothetical, but what would the end result be? A philosophical question for sure, but would we as a race be contributing to the creation of an identical consciousness? Or would it be our individual thoughts and experiences that would be used to make an AI capable of experiencing human consciousness?
