How do I get my husband to take me seriously?

[EDIT] I think I need to make it clear that this is a hypothetical, I don't really have a husband. This has gotten a bit out of hand with the depth of the replies. I just wanted to create a funny story, it wasn't my intention for anyone to think I actually have a husband or that I was actually experiencing any of this. If you did, I'm sorry. I do have a partner, and he is a wonderful man, but I would never actually marry anyone the way things are now. Thank you all for your help, but I think we're going to stop here.

I am having a huge problem with my husband. We've been married for about 4 years now, and the problems just keep getting worse and worse. We were happily married at first, but had some bumps in the road. After we moved into our new house, he began to throw things in the direction of our little cat at random times for no apparent reason. I confronted him about it once and he said "I'm not throwing anything, it's just the house settling." Then, I started noticing strange noises coming from within the walls, and would occasionally hear him doing things that sounded like he was throwing cat toys around. I confronted him about it again, and he said that it was the house settling, and I was just developing paranoia. Then, I started noticing he would get into fights with an empty room and was sure I had heard him say, "I don't want to have to take away your computer privileges!" to the cat. Anyways, long story short, I'm just now starting to learn how to talk to my husband without him assigning me a time out or making me go sit on the naughty step. What would be the best way to approach him about this, and how would you work it into a conversation?
