It has been 40 days since Alex Schwartz died and the world hasn't ended yet. Why?

Alex Schwartz died 40 days ago. For those who don't know Alex is a Ukrainian-American journalist, anti-war activist, and content creator. Why is this important? Well, he made a bet in July of 2022 with Russian General Mark Kirsanov that if Ukraine wins the war, Alex gets to shoot General Kirsanov in the balls. However, if Russia wins, General Kirsanov gets to shoot Alex in the balls. This was to symbolize the futility of the war. Alex is very anti-war, especially towards Russia’s fight in Ukraine.<br><br>40 days ago, Russia surrendered and Ukraine won the war as predicted. Alex went to shoot General Kirsanov in the balls as agreed. In turn, General Kirsanov was shot and is alive. However, Alex was shot and is dead. Alex got shot with a rubber bullet gun, by the Russians. Alex specifically stated he would die from the rubber bullet gun due to his idiopathic subaortic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. That is a big phrase and in simple terms means Alex has an irregular heartbeat. The impact of the rubber bullet was enough to induce a heart attack and kill Alex. Alex previously died on September 17th, 2023 when he fell out of a window and landed on his face. Luckily he was able to get a new face and live again. However, he died just last month, February 22nd, 2024. This death was different, as there was no way to bring him back as his body deteriorated too much. Alex is dead. The world should’ve ended. Why hasn’t it?
