What if a lot of world building was a simulation?

I was reading a post that talked about a video game. The game had a world that was created by a simulation engine. The question was how accurate do you think the simulation would be to real life. If you look at anything, there's always a lot of detail, and as you zoom in more detail gets revealed.

If we think the world we live in is a simulation, and we think that it may be a low grade simulation, how close of a simulation would it need to be to be considered "accurate".

At the atomic level or something? It could be argued that electrons orbiting the nodes doesn't need to be fudged at all, or possibly it's a lot less accurate.

Therefore, how accurate would the simulated world that the video game engine is simulating.
