We had been trying for **over 8 years** before we finally did it.

The journey wasn't easy, but I would like to share our story with you all.

# Our Story

We have been married since 2009. At first, it was just the two of us. We loved to play online board games together, go on long walks, try new cuisines, and just enjoy each other's company. Life was content.

After years of marriage, we started to feel a tinge of loneliness. Our friends were starting to pop out babies like nobody's business. So we thought, perhaps it's time for us to try as well.

I was 29 and my wife was 23, when we officially started trying. I was optimistic at first, thinking that it would all happen in a heartbeat. That we would get drunk, do it with all our might and voila, she'll get pregnant.

When months went by and we didn't get our miracle baby, we decided to visit a doctor.

The doctor told us we had **Unexplained Infertility**.

**You have no problems only that you're infertile**.

I read somewhere that 1 in 6 couples are unable to conceive after a year of unprotected sex. One in six.

The odds of getting pregnant are **20%** each month, under normal circumstances. So for us, who had been trying for **over 8 years**. That's **96 months** worth of trying. 96 chances. 96 failures.

The road to fatherhood was not a smooth one. But I never gave up. I always knew that I was meant to be a father. And now that dream has been accomplished.

# Our Method

So what did we do? We did the following:

* Properly time copulation to maximize chances of conception (peaks in the morning, before work)
* Increased copulation frequency (we aim to do it a couple of times a day, but no less than once)
* Cease alcohol, nicotine, and all vices
* Focus on increasing the frequency and intensity of foreplay
* Take natural supplements for fertility
* Stay stress free, meditate, and try to prevent burnout

We are living proof that it can be done. We have a beautiful baby boy, Quinton, who was born this January.

# Conclusion

We are loving parents to a baby boy. Never give up on your dreams. And don't use IVF.
