Unpopular opinion: I like the idea of Andrew Tate being in prison... and I think he deserves to be there. But I don't think he's being held in the same conditions as other male prisoners.

... Andrew Tate had previously mentioned on his podcast how he left the UK because he was worried he'd end up in some horrible prison there after his previous run ins with the law, so he chose to move to Eastern Europe. But after he got arrested in Romania for a completely bullshit reason - and he's still in prison, so it's over 50 days now, he's posting on Twitter about how he's being kept in solitary confinement in a freezing cell and how when he goes out to do a bit of physical exercise outside, it's in handcuffs and leg irons (restraints) and how he's had no visits from family members and how the food is disgusting, etc etc. He also said that he was being held in a prison that was meant for people who were being held for terrorism. When I looked it up, I learned that, yes, he is being held in the highest level prison in Romania and this level prison is reserved for those who are serving sentences for dangerous offenses like murder, trafficking, and terrorism... But on Wikipedia on the page for that prison it says that they all have bedding and mattresses and clean clothes and they have a few hours a day outside in the yard with other people. So I find it hard to believe that Andrew Tate is being held in the same conditions as everybody else. I find it hard to believe that he's not being treated better because of his level of influence online and that he would be getting far better treatment than the average prisoner because of that influence because I find that just the way the justice system works. I find it hard to believe that, even though he's being held in solitary confinement, he still has a Twitter account where he can tweet from his phone in his prison cell. But he's still in prison, and for that, I do not feel sorry for him at all.
