Why do you think ChatGPT didn't receive a major update in 2024?

I really hope I am wrong but I don't even expect GPT-5 in 2025, not to mention 2026.<br><br>To my knowledge, sam altman was in charge of developing GPT-4, I wonder if GPT-5 didn't receive enough attention in the first place.<br><br>What's your opinion on the matter, please share and let's have a discussion.
