Has my dad just been cloned?

My dad and I went to a local restaurant for a meal. As he walked through the door he stopped and started to stare at someone. I asked him who it was and he couldn’t really answer. He was like “That’s me”. I said “well go say hi” but he just stood there in shock.<br><br>I went over and it was indeed a man that looked almost identical to him, wearing roughly the same clothes, same eyeglasses, ( My dad spends most of his days in a white t-shirt and glasses doing stuff in the yard ) same colour hair, he even had the same ID badge with the same colour lanyard. I was shocked too, it felt like we’d just hit a glitch.<br><br>I said to the man “you look like my dad” and he looked mildly confused but agreed that that’s what my dad said. He elaborated “I was sure that I recognised him, but couldn’t quite place him. He told me that I’d cloned him.”<br><br>I asked if they knew each other but they both said no. I showed my dad a picture of the man and he confirmed “that’s me, but it’s not me.”<br><br>There’ve been a number of things happen to me recently that have made me feel like I’ve hit a glitch in reality. This one really floored me though.
