How would you feel if you woke up in a Charles Bukowski novel?

I am not Charles Bukowski. I am a serious fan, however, and the idea intrigues me. You know - if you woke up in a typical Bukowski novel, how would you feel? You might have to make some inferences as to what exactly you can do to get out of the novel, but that's fine. And I guess we could all google for an hour and draw some conclusions based on that, but I'd rather you just take a short cut, and use your gut/your impressions of the author.

Here are some rules for your entry, which is thankfully short:

1. The only character you can interact with is Henry Chinaski. I don't think he would be very chatty, but he will be as chatty as you need him to be.

2. You can only interact with Henry Chinaski in three ways: you can talk to him, or you can have sex with him, or you can fight him. And I guess you can decline to do any of those things, but I doubt that he would be interested in anything else.

3. You can influence Henry/other characters in any way you see fit, as long as your influence is logical and make sense. For example, you can't say "I'm an immortal wizard, and an immortal wizard king, and the Charles Bukowski novels are just prophetic visions that I have overcome."

4. Finally, please indicate (with an asterisk) which Charles Bukowski novel you are in. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of confusion between some of the novels, so just pick which one you are in, and we'll be fine.

Thanks very much for participating!!
