What the actual fuck is going on in the female mind?

So I’ve been talking to a girl on Tinder for about a week. We have tons of things in common, our chats are the most fun I’ve had, she’s ridiculously pretty, and she loves video games just as much as I do. I don’t know what more I can ask for in a match.

One of our first chats was about the best way to get “a girls number” (her words) when she’s already super interested in you, but you want to find out 100%. She said that the best way is to be super blunt, say how super hot you find her, tell her you want to go on a date, and boom. You look confident, the girls super into you, and you’ve already set the way for the relationship to be so much easier.

Well, I tried that. I said all that. I wanted to go on a date. I told her how hot I thought she was. And she said “noted” and the conversation died.

But then she started hitting me up, like, right when she woke up, right when I woke up, saying how the way I talk is so cute, and that she’s so into me, and that she’s so excited to see me. She would send memes of a girl flirting with a guy in a cartoon, saying “me right now watching u”. And then, every time I’d initiate a conversation about actually going on a date, she’d just stop replying. She wouldn’t text me again until I did. And I don’t want to be the one initiating it every time. I want to know she cares.

I’m so confused, what is going on in her head? Why do I have to do all the initiating for the date, when she’s the one initiating all the other conversations? Why would she say she’s so interested, but not want to go out? I don’t get it.

TLDR: Matched on tinder with a girl who’s perfect, we talk great, she’s so into me, but she won’t let me ask her out.
