I never knew his name but now I do.<br><br>We call him "Dave" now.<br><br>Dave is the man who launched the bug into space<br><br>Who is Dave, really? <br><br>Dave is a metallurgist.<br><br>Dave is from West Virginia<br><br>Dave is a man of adventure in the middle age of his life.<br><br>Dave is the master of his own fate who still rides a skateboard.<br><br>Dave is barely past 40, even if he's practically 70.<br><br>Dave has launched a bug to space<br><br>Dave has also launched an RC plane to space using a weather balloon and a parachute.<br><br>Why? Dave is an enigma and I'm honored to have had the chance to know him, if only for a brief moment<br><br>May we see more of Dave in the future
