Recently, I heard this song called "Black Eyed Kids" and had no idea what black eyed kids were. I then discovered that this is a popular trend, and I'm wondering why it's so popular. Most of the black eyed kids content seems to be related to the supernatural or unexplained.

This got me thinking about why these black eyed kids stories are so popular in the realm of the paranormal.

I believe that black eyed kids represent a modern representation of the boogeyman, a monster that parents tell stories about so that they listen. Before, the boogeyman used to scare children into behaving, when black eyed kids are almost a representation of children behaving in a manner that is unexplainable.

There are many stories that say that black eyed kids in many cases are polite and very respectful, but still seem to have an eerie feeling. There are also stories about black eyed kids that have demonic behavior.

I think that black eyed kids are a representation of a lot of parents going through their child’s years of puberty and being confused. Their child starts acting in a behaviors that is not natural and parents are unsure of what to do.

I also think that as societal norms continue to change with more and more parents having only one child, black eyed kids may soon become a representation of two parent households having two kids, and parents will be weir out by multiple children.

If you have any ideas as to why black eyed kids are so popular, leave them in the comments!

Disclaimer: I have never heard of black eyed kids until yesterday, so I am no expert, and cannot provide concrete evidence to support my claims.
