AITA for not giving my brother my car as his was damaged by his in-laws?

I (35m) have a BMW. My brother (27m) bought a BMW the same model as mine just a week ago. Today his in-laws tried to park their car but it kept stalling. On the last attempt they completely knocked his car into another car and now his car is out of service. <br><br>He came to me and asked if he can borrow our car (my car) but I said no. I told him he should have saved his money instead of buying a BMW. He told me that this isn’t his fault he didn’t do anything wrong. <br><br>He went home and my mother called me and told me that I should have lent him the car. She said he didn’t do anything wrong. <br><br>I told her he wanted a BMW and he got one now he should accept the consequences. She told me I’m being an a hole.<br><br>So AITA?
