Hi everyone. I've been with my boyfriend for four years and we've been good until now. I have mental health issues and have been hearing that I'm a "liability" because of them. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for a while and have found it really hard to cope but my boyfriend has been with me through it.

He wants me to feel comfortable expressing myself in the bedroom but he has said that my mental health issues make it feel like I'm a liability. I understand that he doesn't want me to struggle but I feel like hearing more about how I'm a "liability" because of my mental health issues is really hurtful.

I want to feel comfortable expressing myself in the bedroom and work on my mental health. I want my boyfriend to feel comfortable too but I don't want to be made to feel like I'm a burden because of my mental health. How do I address this issue and make sure my boyfriend feels comfortable while I'm also able to work on my mental health?

tl;dr My boyfriend says I'm a "liability" because of my mental health issues.
