Hey Maoists, you might see this post as Anti Chinese or racist, but I would like to clarify that I love the Chinese people and this post is an attack on the Chinese government.

Fascist Ideologies in China:

The Chinese government is an authoritarian state that is characterised by single party rule, the forced suppression of political opposition, a closely controlled police state, strict control of everything (media, businesses, free speech etc.), militarism and often identity politics. In the case of China this is amongst other Han nationalism and Anti Tibetan/Sinophobe Sentiment.

Fascist Features in China:

strict adherence to a strong guiding ideology that is deeply rooted in its political system; an authoritarian government under a single-party leadership; a powerful, secretive, and repressive internal security apparatus; state-controlled media and other institutions; manipulation of the nation's history to promote the regime in a positive light; demonization of perceived enemies of the state; complete or substantial suppression of individual freedoms; complete control of, or heavy involvement in, the economy; increased state militarism.

Chinese Influence Campaigns:

The Chinese have many campaigns across the world to shape intellectual discourse and public attitudes in a direction favourable to Chinese interests. The Chinese use a variety of methods and tactics to influence discourse. They run influence operations, many of which are clandestine, through a variety of institutions and intermediaries in the targeted country. In the United States, for instance, the Chinese have sought to use various methods to influence US policy toward Taiwan.

In other countries China has interfered with Democracy and have been accused of interference. China also uses disinformation campaigns to control public opinion and uses state owned media to spread Propaganda. They have used disinformation campaigns to influence public opinion in Taiwan, Hong Kong and other territories that they have a dispute with.

Ccp are not the same as the Chinese government:

The CPC is the sole founding and ruling political party of the People's Republic of China. The CPC is the world's second-largest political party in terms of party membership. Unlike other parties, the CPC is the de facto Constitute in China and although China has a constitution it is secondary to the CPC constitution.

They are undemocratic:

The CPC is structurally undemocratic as it is a hierarchal structure with the Politburo being in charge of the country.

The CPC are a Right Wing Party:

The CPC have gone towards Neoliberalism and Right Wing Authoritarianism. The CPC are the exact opposite of Marx and Lenin’s ideologies and are Right Wing Authoritarians with Neoliberal economic policies, a large military, authoritarianism and strict control of the population. China is extremely authoritarian and although they claim to be Marxist-Leninist they are not, they have abandoned any form of socialism/communism a long time ago. They have also praised Fascist and Far Right Leaders in the past.

Human Rights abuses:

One of the worst things about China is their human rights abuses. The Internment of Uyghurs in Xinjiang is a huge example of this, the Chinese government have detained up to 1.8 million Uyghur’s and other minority groups since 2014. They are sent to “re education camps” where they are subjected to forced labour, rape, torture, forced sterilization and forced abortions. There is also proof that the Chinese are harvesting organs from prisoners, they are also guilty of forced organ removal from Falun Gong and Uyghur prisoners. The Chinese government has denied reports of human rights abuse in their camps and claim that those imprisoned are extremists or terrorists.

The Chinese government also has restrictions on Freedom of Speech in China, media and journalists are strictly censored to prevent any views that the CPC disagree with. They are also banned from criticizing the CPC. The Chinese government also has a social credit system, which deducts points for various forms of dissent. Protesters and Activists are often given harsh prison sentences.

This quote from Amnesty international describes China’s human right record perfectly:

“Authorities tightened their grip on dissent. Peaceful activists continued to face condemnation and punishment. The Cat and Mouse game between tech-savvy dissidents and the authorities reached new heights. Online activists fled into exile, fearing for their freedom. New draconian rules throttled already limited press freedoms. The authorities maintained a blacklist of individuals barred from travelling abroad. Tibetans and Uighurs continued to bear the brunt of repressive security measures. Falun Gong practitioners were at risk of being tortured and “disappeared”. Death row prisoners were at risk of execution and their organs being harvested without consent.”

I hope this post has given you the information you need to make your own mind up on the CPC, but one thing that is for sure is that China is most definitely not Marxist, Leninist or Communist.
