Hunters in Montana are being asked not to wear anything orange to avoid being accidentally shot by anti-government militia members.

All of this over the fear of a democrat being elected president.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit: Holy cow this blew up.<br><br>I'm trying to go through the comments, but there are a lot of them.<br><br>I am not a democrat. I am a conservative libertarian who would rather die than vote democrat.<br><br>The people who are doing this are a small minority of conservative Republicans, and the rest of us think they're a bunch of idiots.<br><br>The reason I'm so mad about it is because we have an amazing tradition of silent protest in this country, and these idiots are ruining it (i.e. people have a tendency to believe the worst about people who are protesting non-violently, and that tendency has ruined the reputation of a lot of good people).<br><br>Overall, I think it would be good for all of you to educate yourselves on the facts surrounding this event, and please be careful not to paint an entire country based on a few people's actions.<br><br>I've seen a lot of people in the comments saying things like "Fuck the USA" or "I'm definitely not visiting the US anymore." <br><br>I'm not going to try to change your minds. I just think it's sad that people are judging an entire nation of people based on a few.<br><br>I just want to reiterate my gratitude for the kind and fair-minded people in the comments who were willing to listen to me.<br><br>I didn't expect this topic to get so much traction, and I apologize if I sounded like an ass in my initial post.<br><br>Thank you again.
