Trying to purchase drugs with a handicap card really sucks<br><br>I was at my local, but really rural, dispensary. They never have that much stock, but what they do have is great so I've been going there for over a year. <br><br>The first bud tender approached me and said "We are also offering you a discount of 10% off of everything you purchase today, we love working with our handicap brothers and sisters"<br><br>Me - "Thank you"<br><br>Me (thinking) - I really don't want to be judging this guy, he is offering me a discount. But it is awkward that he is calling me his handicap brother, I feel bad for him.<br><br>Then he asks me what I want to get and I tell him I want to get some weed wax. <br><br>Me - "I'm glad you carry XXXX brand, I purchase from them exclusively"<br><br>Bud tender 1 - "Awesome, yes they are great"<br><br>Bud Tender 2 - "But you want to look at our house brand handicap weed, it's cheaper and better for handicap people like you" <br><br>Me (thinking) - what is handicap weed, is this a case where they are giving me a really good discount? Is it only for handicap, does it come in a special weed handicap bucket?<br><br>Me (speaking) - "I'm sorry, what is handicap weed?"<br><br>Bud Tender 2 - "You know, bud for handicaps"<br><br>Me - "I've never heard of handicap weed before, is it from XXXX brand?"<br><br>Bud Tender 2 - "Oh, no, of course not. It's our house brand handicap bud"<br><br>Me - "Is it cheaper than the XXXX brand?"<br><br>Bud tender 2 - "Yeah, it's actually more expensive"<br><br>Me (thinking) - If it's more expensive than the weed I want, then it's not handicap weed. This is not handicap weed.<br><br>Me - "I think I will just go with the XXXX brand handicap weed"<br><br>Bud tender 1 - "You don't want the handicap brand, that is not for you"<br><br>Me - "I would love to purchase the handicap brand handicap weed" <br><br>Bud Tender 2 - "Okay, we will see what we can do"<br><br>Loses train of conversation with the two tenders for a minute, and then they bring me a gram of the handicap weed. <br><br>Me - "I really appreciate you selling me the handicap weed"<br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "No, we aren't selling you the handicap brand. We are giving you this gram for free"<br><br>Me - "I don't want it to be free, I want to purchase it. I've been purchasing weed for a really long time, I know how to purchase weed. I would like to purchase this handicap weed from you"<br><br>Bud Tender 2 - "No, it is a gift"<br><br>Me - "I would really love to purchase this handicap weed from you"<br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "Fine, you can purchase it for $5 a gram. But you really don't want it"<br><br>Me - "I understand what you are saying, but I really want to purchase this handicap weed" <br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "Fine, you can purchase it for $100 a gram"<br><br>Me - "Thiswx the XXXX brand handicap weed, not the handicap handicap weed" <br><br>Bud Tender 2 - "Fine, $75 a gram"<br><br>Me - "You don't want to sell this handicap weed to me at a discount? I showed you my handicap card"<br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "I'm sorry, yes, you get a 50% discount off of the handicap weed" <br><br>Me - "That's only 20% off of the handicap weed"<br><br>Bud Tender 2 - "Fine, $40 a gram or best offer"<br><br>Me - "I don't want to lowball you guys, I really want to purchase some handicap weed and I know that handicap weed is expensive. I will give you $30 a gram for your handicap weed"<br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "We aren't going to sell you the handicap weed, it was a stupid idea. Let me go check on the XXXX brand handicap weed for you"<br><br>Me - "I feel like I offended you or something"<br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "No, you didn't offend me. But you are right. I'm stupid. The handicap weed isn't for you, and even if it was I wouldn't sell it to you at any price. You're right, I'm stupid, I'm just going to go check on the other handicap weed for you"<br><br>Bud tender 1 goes to the handicap handicap weed storage area, and comes back a few minutes later with a gram of the handicap weed bud. <br><br>Me - "I'm sorry if I called you stupid, you are not stupid. I can tell that handicap weed is really difficult to get and I'm sorry that I upset you so much"<br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "I'm not upset, I just don't like calling you handicap brother. You want to purchase the handicap weed, and I said that I would sell it to you. Here it is. Do you want to purchase it or not?"<br><br>Me - "I'm sorry, but I don't want to purchase drugs from someone that hates me so much. I'm just going to go somewhere else"<br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "I don't hate you, I'm sorry if it came off that way. As a handicap person, do you want a free handicap cartridge? It's really handicap, and I think you might be able to handicap with it"<br><br>Me (thinking) - This is really cool, a handicap cartridge that I can handicap with. Is that handicap slang? Does handicap mean something different to handicap people? Can only handicap people handicap? Why do I, as a handicap person, need a special handicap cartridge that only handicap people can handicap with? <br><br>Me - "No, I don't want to handicap. I just want to purchase some handicap weed for personal handicap use"<br><br>Bud Tender 1 - "Fine, I'm going to go get my manager"<br><br>Manager approaches me. He is wearing a handicap shirt and a handicap name tag. Next to his name on his name tag it says "President and handicap CEO"<br><br>Manager - "I'm handicap Dave, I'm the handicap CEO of this handicap dispensary. And I handicap really hard to make sure that all of our handicap customers get handicap service. I'm sorry that my handicap bud tender was not handicap enough for you. I'm going to offer you the handicap discount on the handicap handicap weed, as well as a free handicap cartridge that you can handicap with"<br><br>Me - "I just want to purchase the XXXX brand handicap weed"<br><br>Manager - "The XXXX brand handicap weed is not handicap enough for you"<br><br>Me - "I would just like to purchase some weed, I think I'm going to go somewhere else"<br><br>Manager - "I'm not going to let you leave. You need to purchase some handicap bud from me" <br><br>Me - "I don't want to purchase handicap weed from you, I want to go somewhere else"<br><br>Manager Dave - "Don't worry about it, just purchase some handicap weed from me. You can purchase it for just a penny"<br><br>Me - "I'm going to go somewhere else"<br><br>Manager Dave - "Fine, but don't come crawling back when you realize how difficult it is to handicap without my handicap handicap weed"<br><br>Manager Dave calls the police on me, and has me escorted out of the dispensary. <br><br>Shitty experience, but I can't wait for the next time I get to purchase some handicap weed. <br><br>Edit - I don't want to be mean to the handicap people in this sub.
