I'm just so done at this point

We were supposed to be closed until at least November 1st, but now we're going back on Monday. I'm so fucking done. The kids have been home since March 13. It's a miracle I didn't lose my fucking mind and no parents have complained that their kids didn't have access to learning. And now we're going back to in person and I have to teach in person AND online. I'm the only HS English teacher at my school so I have to do all the fucking grades. I have 150 students. No one addresses the fact that these kids fucking suck at following rules. Most of them won't wear their masks to school and they are definitely not going to follow the rules of social distancing. They are fucking idiots. Most of the staff at my school are over 50, and I know at least four who have health issues. I'm also on that list. I don't even want to go to school anymore and I'm really fucking close to just quitting. What the fuck did I get my teaching degree for? I'd rather sit and watch paint dry than have to go back to this shitshow.
