Modern society is built around being a money chasse system. Nobody has time to chase moral highs anymore.

Modern people don't say, "I believe in this and this is my values," and stand up for this belief anymore. They say, "What is the right opinion to have in order to get ahead in life?" And they adopt this opinion, not because they believe it, but because they want to get ahead in life.<br><br>This is how immoral systems get perpetuated, such as our current healthcare system (which is unethical and immoral) but the majority of people don't realize it because of the way our media operates. The majority of people say that the current system is great and that there is no problem with it.<br><br>The people who point out the immorality of the current system is seen as outcasts and weirdos. They don't have anything to gain by pointing out the immorality of this system. All they have to gain is a sense of moral highs.<br><br>This is a never ending cycle. Because the majority of people chases wealth, the world is designed this way. But because the world is designed this way, all people have time for is chasing wealth.<br><br>In the end, wealth and power is not fulfilling.
