I am a witch, I am a student midwife, I am a Mum, I work in a NHS hospital, and I am protesting outside the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne right now. This is what it means to be a witch. To use your gifts to protect those who are vulnerable. To protect life and sovereignty.

Fuck off Tex. Get out of our hospital.#####EDIT: Thank you for the support, beautiful witches. What I mean by "gifts" is; the gift of life, the gift of physical embodiment, the gift of motherhood, the ability to hold space, and to nurse, to nurture, to protect. My "gifts" are simple, and I am not gifted in anything more than most people are. We all have the capacity to nurture, to love, to protect and to heal.

EDIT 2: For those who are asking what is happening, I recommend getting onto some Aussie news sites. A Texan anti abortion "pregnancy crisis" centre, has moved into the hospital car park of the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. The hospital is a major tertiary hospital where women go to get abortions, as well as public births, and other women's health services. The RW is a very safe space for many women, and it feels like this Texan centre opening is an invasion of our space, and a breach of our sovereignty as women in Australia. Texan's have no business interfering with women's health in Australia. We do not want them here.
