Was the Great Depression really about banks and the economy?? Or was it part of an elaborate scheme to create urbanization?

I read some quotes from Tesla that got me thinking.

Tesla was a proponent for people living in rural areas and using solar power, water, geothermal and wind energy. He even said the future will be decentralized. There is a reason why they didn’t want us to live in harmony with nature. Most urbanization happened in the 20th century. Tesla died in 1943 right at the end of the Great Depression. If you think about it, the Great Depression took Americans away from farmers and the rural areas, brought them all together to the cities where they could be controlled by corporations. Tesla said the cities are a place where everyone formats together to the norm. He said living in close proximity to one another is unhealthy, not only for our bodies, but for our minds as well.

I’m not saying the Great Depression was entirely manufactured, but we know the Federal Reserve banks were instrumental in the Depression. And I’m sure big corporations took advantage of it. They almost made it impossible for anyone to survive on their own and forced the people into the cities. Because of urbanization, we are now incentivized to work a 9-5 job. It’s almost impossible to live off the land in this day and age. If you work a 9-5 job, you’re more likely to buy corporate food from grocery stores. And if you do eat healthy, I’m sure you are paying a premium for it. It’s no wonder we are an unhealthy nation.

This depressed, stressed and anxiety-ridden society we live in, was it all by design?
