Was the civil war really about slavery?

Think about this, there was a civil war in the 1800s, the north won, slavery is banned, but guess what, there's still racism! Racism didn't end with the civil war did it? The civil war was about money, the south wanted to break away from the USA because they wanted to make more money and did not want the federal government taking all of it. They were vulnerable to attack without the support of the north, so obviously the north would win. The south wanted to expand slavery, so they could use slave labor to make more money, it wasn't because they liked black people or wanted to take them in and treat them nicely. It's all about money.
