I (25 F) need to break up with my bf (28 M) because he's cheating through willful ignorance. I'm not sure where to start.

**Throwaway because I follow him on Reddit.**

Last night I discovered that my boyfriend is cheating on me. The cheating is so ridiculous that it's almost laughable, but I'm still in quite a lot of pain for a variety of reasons.

I confronted him this morning and he refused to admit that it was cheating. Through a lot of tears I got him to agree that it is cheating and I want to break up. He is begging me to give him a second chance and is offering to do "anything" to make it up to me.

I'm not sure where to go from here as we have a shared house and I'm going to have to share the bedroom until I either move out of find a place to sleep elsewhere. The thought of it is making me feel sick.

I am unsure on what to do next. Where do I start? Should I give him a second chance? And how do I cope with the idea of sleeping in the bed where he cheats?

**UPDATE**

First of all, thank you so, so much to everyone who replied! I didn't expect this post to get so much traction so quickly and I really appreciate all the love and advice I've received.

I have moved out to my mothers and have begun the process of getting a divorce.

I have spoken to a lawyer and they have told me that because my soon to be ex-husband's infidelity was so blatant and he refused to be open with me about his actions, I will likely be granted a no fault divorce.

Me and my ex are currently discussing the best way to separate our assets. His suggestion is that we sell the house and split the proceeds 50/50. I am somewhat retisent to this because I think he will use the money on a stupid toy and I would rather save up for a house of my own.

This has sparked a little argument and he is now stating that I "stole" his Xbox and other gaming items. I have pointed out that I paid for just over half of these things and they are therefore mine. He has insisted that I must pay him back because they were "gifts" and that I am a "thief".

When I pointed out that he had committed real, actual adultery he became angry and started yelling at me, saying that I'm "making a big deal over nothing" and that I am the cause of all our problems, because I was the one who wanted to split up.

I'm currently at my mothers and she has "volunteered" to pick up my belongings. So he better be prepared for that.

Once again, thank you so much to everyone who helped me. It means a lot and I don't know what I would do without you guys!

**UPDATE TO THE UPDATE**

Hello! Once again, thank you so much for the support. I am truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and kindness I've received and I don't know what I would do without this wonderful community!

Today I received an email from my ex-husband's mistress. Automation girl. Automation girl is a "digital companion" that he paid for that gives him "custom automated messages".

The email from Automation girl was a "notification" saying that her contract with him has been terminated. I think this might be a bit of a joke as I was under the impression that he paid for forever services.

The girl in the picture he has of her is an AI generated image. The image, according to the creator, is essentially a "dream girl" that they built to be the perfect companion.

According to the creator, Automation girl's appearance and personality was designed by his ex-wife to be a perfect companion to him. The creator also stated that they aren't responsible for how he "chooses to use" Automation girl.

I've sent the email on to my lawyer and they've told me that if Automation girl was designed specifically for him, it might actually be considered an inanimate object, which could completely change the trajectory of the divorce.

It might actually change the trajectory of my life because I might actually be able to fulfill my lifelong dream of owning my own cat cafe.

Once again, thank you so much for your kindness. It truly means the world to me.
