How do I do better?

I am a 26 year old male who is morrally bankrupt and after 26 years I still do not know what my place in the world is. I am a Christian and believe in the teachings of Jesus but I struggle to apply them in my life. I am addicted to pornography and cannot get sober. I do not show up consistently. I do not do my work, and after 26 years I do not know how to do better.
