Why do men get away with everything?

The patriarchy hinders simple justice from being served. I get it why men abuse their power, but what I don’t understand is why a lot of women support them in their actions? With the Taylor Swift lawsuit, so many fucking idiots are like “it’s not about gender, it’s about justice” when IT FUCKING IS. Scooter Braun manipulated her and took advantage of her, tried to silence her, and whenever she tries to speak out about the simple fact that she doesn’t have rights to her masters, people flock to him like he’s the fucking victim. This is a prime example of the patriarchy. Since women are never truly seen as full human beings, we are NEVER taken seriously. Our stories are belittled and not taken seriously, our trauma is laughed off, and the abusers are like “but look what she posted on Instagram/ what she said, she’s the real bully”. It’s sickening to me that the patriarchy has veiled the eyes of so many women and now are complicit in the abuse they’re giving out.
