My husband was caught shoplifting in 2017 for the first time. He said it was a one off as he was in a bad place in his life due to depression. In 2019 he was caught twice: once in Walgreens and once in TJ Maxx. He told me that it was just an accident. He said that he had forgotten to purchase something because he took a phone call.

Fast forward to 2021, he was caught stealing in Walmart and TJ Maxx again. By this point I had left him. I received an email from Walmart that my card was used to purchase $200+ dollars worth of electronics!! When Walmart called me (how ironic), I was furious and told them he was my ex.

One thing that irks me is that he would always complain about the lack of money we had, yet he spent thousands buying things to steal. He would stay up all night, sipping on energy drinks.

Things he spent his money on:

- A mug that took a photo of the cashier and had a flash light.

- Clothes with padding in them to conceal merchandise.

- Ez tags as he had to drive fast to get away.

- Drones because he wanted to be able to see where the cameras were.

- Escalator cleaner!! He tried to say that he did this to help because it was just an accident.... but why bring that up if it didn't happen before?

- Thermal flasks (how ironic).

- A backpack that had cut outs and a zipper that opened up!!

- A vest that had padding to conceal.... but also had a single layer of aluminum in it.

- Jacket with 3 layer because he hadn't been caught with it!!

- Duffle bag with padding in it and aluminum.

- Laptop bags with padding and aluminum.

- Ez squeezer to squeeze through any gaps (I assume he didn't want to get caught).

- Jacket with 3 layers for because he hadn't been caught yet.

He actually thought that he was too smart for me and nobody could ever catch him!! What was his routine?

1. He would go to TJ Maxx and snoop around.

2. He would drive around and go to Walmart and snoop around.

3. He would go to TJ Maxx and steal.

4. He would drive around with the stolen goods and dump them in his car.

5. He would go to Walmart and steal!!

6. He would drive home and wait.... and wait.

7. He would drive to the nearest town over and sell them for cheap prices.

Things he stole:

- Electronics.

- Designer handbags.

- Clothes.

- Kids toys.

- Ez squeezer.

- Anything he could get his hands on to.

I assume that if Walmart knew about the scheme, they would've contacted TJ Maxx!!
