What are your thoughts on the recent G36/Pkm debacle on TFB?

I've been reading TFB for years, but over the last few weeks they went on an angry rampage about the G36/Pkm. They claim they ran the same ammo in the G36 and the Pkm is they are the only other firearm that can chamber the same 5.56 ammo. They came to the conclusion 5.56 NATO is unreliable below 300 yards.<br><br>This just seems to be lazy and dips in journalism. The 5.56 NATO cartridge has been extensively tested by the military in many different firearms. The 5.56 NATO cartridge is very reliable when chambered in a firearm that is designed for the 5.56 NATO cartridge. <br><br>I've never used airsoft guns as a benchmark for gun reliability or effectiveness, but as many of us know they are extremely reliable outdoors and in many different climates. Unless you're spending thousands of dollars of a high end airsoft gun, a $100 air soft gun will shoot bb's fine outdoors or indoors, hot or cold, wet and dry, with a range of over 300 feet. <br><br>I just wish TFB didn't give guns a bad reputation.
