I don't understand what's so special about Attack on Titan

I've seen 80 episodes so far (season 4 not included), and I just don't get it. I don't hate it or anything, but I can't see myself enjoying it as much as other people. I don't even know why I'm still watching if I have already lost interest in the story and characters.
