My girlfriend doesn't eat when I cook and I feel insulted, is this problematic?

So my girlfriend would usually do most of the cooking and I'd do some of the cleaning but I'm trying to be more proactive with her moving into my place. She had this dish she wanted to eat and I made it but she didn't eat it and told me to throw it away. I asked her if she didn't like it and she brought up that she never eats what I cook. I responded by saying that I feel problematic when I cook for her and she doesn't eat it; she told me it's not my fault that I can't cook and it's better that I don't eat it too. I asked if she thought that I was a bad cook and she said yes which I told her I can help her not to be that way and she just laughed and said no with a weird smile on her face. I told her she made me feel like I'm not a man and her response was "if you knew how to cook, you'd know that's not true". I find it a little odd that she can't seem to eat anything I make. I feel like she's undermining me.
