My fiancé broke up with me because I gained some weight

Throwaway because I'm still hurting and I don't want my followers to see this<br><br>So I (32f) and my fiancé (34m) have been together for 8 years. Last year I had a miscarriage which absolutely broke me. I stopped leaving the house, going to work, showering ect. I got to be about 230lbs (I'm 5'4 for reference) and I still don't really see the problem with that. So I'm finally starting to feel better and I got a new job ect. I didn't leave the house for a year and I'm still pretty much a hermit but at least now I shower regularly and I'm going to therapy. <br><br>So yesterday my fiancé sits down with me and breaks down crying. He tells me that he's not attracted to me anymore and he can't marry someone he's not attracted to. He admits he's still in love with me and that he still wants to be with me but he just can't marry me. He said if I can get back to my "old weight" which was around 160lbs then he would marry me. He just said he couldn't wait for me to get better anymore. <br><br>He's been with me through my absolute worst and has helped me through a lot. He was always by my side but I just can't believe he left me because of gaining weight. I know he's always been a bit of a shallow person but I never thought he was like this. <br><br>Ugh I'm just hurting and I don't understand how someone who loves me can hurt me like this.
