The guns are coming. And the guns are the future.

I'm a veteran Army Combat Arms officer from the early 90s. <br><br>I played in the sandbox. I've shot a lot of guns and I've been the victim of a lot more gunfire. I earned a Bronze Star with V device for heroism in Iraq. I'm as pro-gun as they come.<br><br>But these days I'm increasingly anti-guns. Or more precisely, pro-gun control. <br><br>And before you call me a RINO, snowflake, or libtard, I'm a lifelong Republican who voted for Trump. <br><br>So why am I becoming anti-guns? Because of you. <br><br>We're in the midst of a pandemic. There's 30 MILLION UNEMPLOYED AMERICANS as of right now, and TWO MILLION CASES OF CORONA VIRUS, with over 100,000 dead. <br><br>But you're out here convincing the world that we need to arm ourselves to the teeth to protect ourselves from the "other". That we need to "defend" ourselves from our neighbors, and from the government. <br><br>You're out here blowing shit up, randomly discharging firearms into the air, engaging in shootouts with police, and committing mass shootings by the hundreds. <br><br>I'm talking to you, weekend warriors. I'm talking to you mall ninjas. I'm talking to you snowflakes who think you're some sort of hero for brandishing weapons in public because you can't get laid, or because you're compensating for something. <br><br>What you are doing, is fueling the liberal left's worst fears of the untrained, unhinged, weekend warrior with a psychological disorder and an AR15. You're fueling the left's worst narratives. <br><br>That we need to be disarmed for our own good. That guns are too dangerous, too untrustworthy, for the nation at large. <br><br>So yes. I was for guns. I still am. But if you're the future of gun ownership, we're fucked. <br><br>You're making it inevitable. We're going to be disarmed. And it will be because of you. <br><br>Grow the fuck up.<br><br><br><br>EDIT: Wow. This blew up faster than a suicide vest at a Turkish wedding. <br><br>First off, a lot of you are entitled, selfish pricks. You're snowflakes who think you deserve to do whatever the hell you want, and that the rest of us have to put up with your BS because of the 2nd Amendment. <br><br>You are wrong. You are the reason we're going to lose our right to bear arms. <br><br>Second, a lot of you are snowflakes who think you're "defending your rights" by brandishing, by shooting up neighborhoods, by engaging police in shootouts, etc. You're not. You're acting like the very tyrannical government you're afraid of. You're not defending freedom. You're taking it away. <br><br>Third, you're not veterans. I am. I deployed twice, and was decorated for heroism. You can't even get out of your mom's basement. You're not experienced shooters. I spent 8 years in combat arms and was expert marksmanship qualified. You're not. You can't even shoot straight. <br><br>Four, this isn't about keeping or taking away your "right" to bear arms. This is about YOU. It's about your behavior, as a collective. And right now, your behavior is that of entitled, whiny little bitches who can't be trusted to own or bear a weapon.<br><br>You're not defending the 2nd Amendment. You're destroying it. <br><br>Thank Christ there are level headed, intelligent gun owners here who see what you are, and are calling you out on your bullshit.
