You can visit the afterlife of your choice, but there’s a catch

The afterlife you choose, in this instance let’s call it heaven, is the perfect version of what you believed it to be in life. No heaven is alike, as no person is the same.
However, the god of said heaven has a strange sense of humor. Instead of pearly gates, Saint Peter, or tunnel vision, you find yourself facing a large, thriving metropolis. The roads are packed with cars and the skyscrapers are tall, but it doesn’t look modern. In fact, it looks like it just stepped out of the 1930s. People walk the streets in fine clothes, with fedoras and suits. The music is lively, the lights are flashing, and the air is filled with the smell of good food.
The streets are filled with people from your heaven. The inhabitants seem to have been waiting for you.
There’s one more thing. Nobody knows your name here.
