CMV: The stigma around guys who like anal is horrible, and it's because guys who don't like anal are bigoted.

To clarify, I am talking about people's preference for engaging in anal sex in a social context, and not the act itself. Lots of guys I've met have a huge amount of scorn and disdain for men who enjoy receiving anal sex, or have been in a relationship where their partner likes to do it. They view it as a lesser activity, or a "gay activity" or whatever dumb reason they have. However, when women express a similar distaste for giving oral or anything else, it's seen as perfectly ok. This double standard is frustrating, and seems to stem from the fact that many men view anything they associate with being gay as being beneath them. This creates a stigma where many guys are too afraid to express their desire to engage in anal sex, which is a pretty horrible thing to do to someone.

Edit: For clarity, when I say "guys who don't like anal are bigoted" I mean that literally. If you have no interest in engaging in an activity, but still have a strong negative emotion towards the activity, that is bigotry. If you don't like a thing but don't care that others like it, that is not bigotry. I am not saying that EVERY guy who doesn't like anal is a bigot. But I am saying that the guys who have contempt for the activity are bigots, plain and simple.

Edit 2: I think it's pretty clear that CMV isn't for everyone, and I appreciate the feedback and the discussions I've had so far. I'm going to mark this as a failed CMV, as the people who tried to change my view were all pretty light, and this was more of a discussion post than anything. Thank you all for the feedback and your time
