AITA for checking my daughters' bags after my husband packed them?

My (36F) husband (39M) and I are going on a brief vacation with our daughters (twins, 5 yo). I was busy at work getting everything settled before I had to go away and when I came home and was ready to pack my daughters' luggage, I found that my husband had already done it. Now, my husband is not used to packing my daughters so I decided to double-check everything before leaving. I found some things missing, like their favorite stuffed animals and some other essentials. I asked my husband why he didn't put them in and he said he didn't think it was important. I got annoyed and told him it's better if I repacked their bags. Now, he's upset that I don't trust him and my daughters are upset because their favorite stuffed animals were left behind.

AITA for not trusting him to pack my daughters' bags?

EDIT: For those saying that my husband is a bad parent because of this, you are wrong. He's a great father to his girls. It's just that he's not usually the one to pack for them.
