I’m a 17 year old from the UK, i recently went on holiday with my grandparents to Florida for a trip I’ve been waiting on for like 4 years. I decided to do some shoplifting from Walmart and grocery stores to potentially give a little gift to my friends and stuff back home. I didn’t steal much, deff not over shoplifting laws being like 300$ for a felony here in florida but it was alot for me. It was just a plastic bag of some snacks and 2 clothing items. I took the stuff, successfully leaving the store without being caught. I then walked out to the carpark of Walmart with my grandparents. They wanted to ask for directions from a Walmart employee so I was patted down infront of them. I was completely humiliated. My grandparents were in complete shock, they asked me if I was trolling and stuff, even though I denied it they knew I was lying. They asked me if I’m shoplifting all the time and stuff. I’m worried now as they may not trust me anymore. All of my family is gonna find out, I might lose my car and I’m just feeling really bad rn. I don’t know what to do. I’m actually a pretty good kid, good grades and everything. <br><br>I stole some stuff from a dollar tree store too. So I guess I’ll be facing some charges or a court case or something. I really don’t know what’s gonna happen. I’ve cried for like 30 mins and I’m still shaking. Please give me any advice.
