I work at NASA; there wasn't an astronaut on Apollo 13

Now it's never a good idea to listen to the ravings of a mad man, but there's a small percentage of you that won't listen. You'll read this and say, "Well, I guess we're not so sure after all". And once you see the truth, there's no going back. That's why once you finish reading this post, you'd best get on with your life or you'll end up just like me. An alcoholic, plastering the truth onto the internet in the hopes people would notice.

I'm not asking you to believe me. I'm just asking you to share this and move on. I don't want you to end up an outcast, a loner, a mad man.

I work at NASA. I've worked there for a few years now; I can't tell you exactly what I do, but I was there during the Apollo 13 fiasco. And I can tell you this; there was never an astronaut on Apollo 13.

Let me explain; for each manned mission, there's a training capsule that simulates the real environment. We call it 'the scape'. The astronauts spend days in the scape, training for every possible scenario.

The reason you didn't hear about the Apollo 13 scape is because it's classified. And the reason it's classified is because the scape holds a secret that no one else knows about; 'the traveler'. The traveler is an unidentifiable entity that can enter the mind of a scape user. It's a very strange thing.

The traveler is always just watching. It doesn't move; it's as if it's just a ghost hovering in the corner of the room. For the largest part of our training, the astronauts are unaware of the traveler. It's something they get used to once they're on the actual mission.

You're probably still wondering where the astronauts are; well, we don't need a manned mission to get into space. As I stated earlier, the traveler is just watching. It doesn't interfere with the astronauts in any way. We still get to explore space, we just don't have a crew. And while it's a pretty crappy thing to do, the astronauts are just PR.

We made the decision a long time ago to not inform the astronauts about the traveler. Instead, we tell them that they're the ones going into space. We also give them a catered crew who don't know the truth. It's a great PR stunt, but it's also quite an expense.

So; what happened to Apollo 13? We're not entirely sure. I mean, it's not like we can talk to it. It just stopped communicating with us at some point. Apollo 13 went up, entered space, but never made it to the moon. I've seen footage of it; the ship just stopped. I don't mean that it was destroyed; it literally just stopped. The engines died, and it just floated there.

The traveler never showed up, but we think it was the one who stopped the ship. Now, we can't communicate with the traveler, so there's no way of knowing why it decided to do that. Apollo 13 just ended.

The astronauts were informed that Apollo 13 was destroyed by an explosion, but they were never told the truth. The PR team made up some nonsense about it being a bad spark, but they knew the truth. They knew about the traveler. As for the astronauts, well, they were shocked.

We had to put them back in the scape, to train them for Apollo 14. And that's when we noticed that something was off. See, when we put the astronauts back in the scape, the traveler showed up as well. I've seen the footage; the astronauts looked at it like they'd seen a ghost. They didn't know what the hell it was. And they weren't alone; I was shocked as well. I'd never seen it do that before.

Well, the astronauts freaked out. They were terrified, like they'd seen something from another realm. 'It', 'the thing', 'the creature', 'the demon'...these were a few of the things they called it. And then, there was the screaming.

I know I sound very calm for a man who's seen what I've seen, but once you see the truth, you eventually become numb to it. I wasn't numb back then. I was terrified. And when I saw what the traveler did to the astronauts, well, let's just say I wasn't in good shape for a while.

The traveler started screaming; a loud, earth-shattering scream. It was so loud that it broke the microphones on the cameras. I'll never forget that sound; it's the single most terrifying thing I've ever heard. And once it started screaming, the astronauts went insane.

They didn't just break down; they were driven mad to the point where they were catatonic. They couldn't move, couldn't think. And the thing is, we didn't know how to turn the traveler off. We had no idea; we'd never seen it do that before.

Well, once the astronauts were driven mad, we just ended the training. And once we did, the screaming stopped. It was as if the traveler didn't want the astronauts to see space. It didn't want them to explore. And if they were driven mad, they couldn't explore.

Well, after all of that happened, we ended the space program. There was no more Apollo; there was no more exploration. And the astronauts? Well, they never recovered. They're still in the asylum; the shell of a man that they once were.

Now, I know I've already said this, but I'll repeat it; don't investigate this. I'm telling you this because I can no longer keep it locked inside of me. And once you've read this, please, please just forget about it. Pretend you never read this, go on with your life, and most importantly, don't try to look into it. I'm begging you.

That's all for now, and that's the truth.
