*edit* thanks to fellow redditor, u/funkymandan, for the formatting and assist.

I have been traveling to North Dakota for the past 25 years for waterfowl hunting in the prairie pothole region. I have been wintering in Texas the past 11 years for my “people thing”.
For the past 6 years I have been driving back and forth between Dallas and Williston, ND and I noticed a sharp decline in the number of western conifer seed bugs I was seeing each trip, driving thru Oklahoma and Kansas. It was dramatic. I used to see hundreds of them on my truck in Oklahoma but the past few years I have been lucky to see a half dozen or so.
this past spring, I was driving back to TX and it was late at night and I was in the middle of Kansas on I-40. I had my high beams on and I saw a line of lights on the left side of the road coming out of the darkness and it was like 50 or 100 NORTH DAKOTA PCSBS AND pcsb kids coming on the highway and it was the strangest thing I had ever seen. I thought it was other people out there but it was all just PCSB’S. So I can’t help but think that maybe there was NORTH DAKOTA pcsbs NORTH DAKOTA’ing in Kansas. I know it’s not the strangest story but it’s definitely the weirdest thing I have ever seen!!!
