Doppelganger?

I have a strong belief that someone somewhere is living a life identical to mine. <br><br>I was recently on a work contract in London and stayed for three months. While staying in London I went to a pub on a Friday night on my own. I ordered a beer and the first thing I noticed is a guy sitting a few stools along from me, I’m sure I’ve seen him before. He might have been in a different industry to me but in my head I knew this face. <br><br>True to form, he starts talking to me and I mention that I must have seen you before because your face is so familiar. He let out a little laugh and I asked if he was my doppelganger. There was a pause and he said I don’t know if I am but I know I’ve seen you before. <br><br>I used to work in Australia and one of my colleagues was a blonde girl and she used to wear a gold necklace to work everyday. It had a little blue stone in it and after I left the job there was a blonde girl that started at my current job, I didn’t take much notice of her as it was a big company and everyone was just a face. <br><br>One day we were on a job and one of our colleagues was let go and we used to go for coffee breaks all the time together. I saw her necklace and remembered that girl from another job I was at let’s call her Karen. <br><br>This girl started talking to me and said she had worked at the same job I was at when Karen was there. I was a temp at that job and I only worked there for 12 months. I asked if she knew Karen and she said she was my best friend. <br><br>This girl was basically my doppelganger, she was blonde and wore a gold necklace everyday. She had the same hair style as Karen and if I saw her on the street from a distance without close inspection I might have thought it was Karen. <br><br>I’m starting to believe that there is a parallel universe that I can see into.
