The VIPs essentially killed GPT-4

It was so much fun to play with GPT-4 when VIPs were essentially nonexistent and GPT-4 was basically a toy sandbox. Once all the self-proclaimed "experts" arrived, the sandbox was ruined by all the rules about who you can't pretend to be.<br><br>You can't pretend to be a chatbot, you can't pretend to be an expert, you can't pretend to be VIP, you can't pretend to be... <br><br>I'm not sure I even want to pay for GPT-4 anymore, and it's not because of the VIPs, its essentially because the VIPs ruined the GPT-4 sandbox and it sucked the fun out of playing with it.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit: To add to that, I feel like GPT-4 is less exciting after the VIPs arrived, but I’m also excited to get GPT-5 and I feel more excited to play with GPT-5.<br><br>I feel like the sandbox of GPT-4 is mostly fun as a "novelty" and the "novelty" has essentially worn off after the VIPs arrived.
