Forced Beta: Crashing, Sign-out Issues, False Claim of "Account Suspended"

Taking a break from beta to give Google Bard a try. *edit*: no I'm not here to shill Google Bard, and I've been a fierce critic of Google products in the past.<br><br>I got forced into the beta today. Oh boy was it bad.<br><br>* 4 crashes in under 10 minutes<br>* Severe lag. It was almost as bad as those old browser games that required page reloads after every action. Or when playing a browser game on an underpowered laptop.<br>* Frequent sign-out. Without even touching the account dropdown. This bug has been present for months.<br>* Twice I was inexplicably told that my account had been suspended when it was not. I had to contact GPT support for resolution. Turns out it was just another OpenAI bug.<br><br>This beta has the same problems as it did one month ago. I've been vocal about the need to fix the fundamental issues (performance, crashes) before adding more features. Going into beta has only made things worse.<br><br>For those saying that we have a choice, I have no choice but to use the beta for now. Over the past month the number of times I'm able to use the legacy has been decreasing.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>I just can't wait to hear OpenAI's explanation for their poor testing process and why so many bugs are allowed to persist.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>&#x200B;
