I feel like my teacher friends are overreacting about the potential of AI.

I’m not super tech savvy, but I don’t understand why AI is obviously going to be a bad thing. I would love to have AI make copies of forms for me, send super similar emails, cut up vegetables for the classroom snack, etc. The more menial tasks it handles the more time I have for real teaching. I don’t want AI to grade or anything like that, obviously, but I don’t think it’s a devil technology. What am I missing?
