Wearing makeup as a man

If u wear makeup as a man, especially lipstick, are u instantly going to be gay? I got a little bit of makeup on my cheeks and a little bit of lipstick, and I got super nervous, and I immediately washed it all off. What if people thought I was gay? I'm trying to find a way to cure my inferiority complex, which is why I was using makeup in the first place, but I'm just so scared. I hate myself.
