Happy Birthday to a President Who Doesn't Deserve One

Hey everyone. I'll be honest, I'm not a good writer, and "eloquent" is not a word a lot of people would describe me as. But I just wanted to share my thoughts, so take them as you will.<br><br>Today is the birthday of a man I have come to despise. A man I couldn't even bear to type out his name right now. This man has done nothing but tear our country apart and I couldn't be more ashamed that he is president of the United States. I've honestly never disliked a person like I dislike him. Every single thing that comes from his mouth makes me angry. Every time I see his face I get frustrated. Every time I think about the fact that millions of good people voted for him and still support him makes me feel disheartened.<br><br>Today is his birthday. He's not going to change. He's going to continue to be the man he's always been, the man that put his hand on Melania's ass the day he was sworn in, the man that brags about grabbing women by their vagina. But I, myself, am going to change. I'm going to change how I react to him. I'm going to ignore his tweets, and his speeches, his rallies, his late night drunk rants. I'm going to work on educating myself on how to make a better world, for myself and for the people I care about. I'm going to embrace the people who were here with me along the way, other people who want the best for our country. It's time I stopped being angry, and started working to make sure this country continues to be worthy of the title "Greatest in the World" even when he's out of office.<br><br>So happy birthday. I don't really care if you get to the next one, because that's all I care to see of you.<br><br>Edit: Wow, this went off quicker than I thought it would!
