Xbox and Sony aren’t going to let each other have a win

There wasn’t much of a competition until there was. The Xbox was an entry into the console market by Microsoft, and they were just trying to not get plastered and ruined like Sega did trying to compete with Sony. Then the Xbox 360 was released and up until that point the best console was the ps2. Then the Xbox 360 came out and the Xbox was a very viable alternative. I think the Xbox even outsold the PlayStation 3 in some places.

Once Sony released the ps5, I think it was a huge mistake. I don’t know if you have a ps5, but it’s already too big to fit under most TVs. I’ve seen people convene their console in decorative wood boxes and I’m wondering why companies don’t make them already in cabinets. So they’re too big for most people to install under the TV, and very few people have TVs installed on a wall. Plus there’s the general argument that it’s a dust collector there and consoles need a lot of air for cooling.

I hate the new Xbox is called the S. What’s the point of giving it a horrible name that doesn’t explain what it is? The Xbox One S is supposed to be the entry level Xbox. It’s supposed to be cheaper and not as good as the Xbox Series X. The Xbox was supposed to be called the Xbox Series X (the premium one), and the Xbox Series S (the cheap one), but instead they released something entirely different called the Xbox Series S.

I’ve heard the Xbox Series S is supposed to be around $300 although I’ve seen it for $250 once. It’s supposed to have ray tracing, which makes better pictures by doing detail work in detail and not the entire picture. I don’t know if that makes sense but it makes everything look more realistic, which I think is the ultimate goal for video games. If you can’t get an Xbox, a gaming PC is probably your best bet.
