Something about Nate always felt off to me, and now it makes sense

Sorry if this is a repeat of another post, I don't have the time to look through all of them.

I was never a fan of Nate, something about him didn't sit right with me. I think his way of speaking was more telling of this problem than people think.

He was always very deliberate and calculated with his words, in the way that men who are trying to manipulate women to get what they want often are.

I remember specifically what he said when Deb was first in the hospital: "She's stable, but they're going to have to keep an eye on her for a little while." That sounds like something a man who is manipulating her would say. There is just something about the way he says "stable" and "a little while" that sounds very deliberate and almost rehearsed.

I also remember what he said at the end: "I knew this was the right place for Deb. I just didn't know it." He sounds very genuine in this clip, so I'm not sure how to react to it.

I have always felt very uncomfortable around men who are overly calculated with their words, and I believe they are not to be trusted.

I could be reading too much into this, but I have seen this behavior from men before, and it makes me very uncomfortable. Nate is now dead, so he can't do anything to Deb.
