The prolonged response to this thread

This is just my observation, but when I came across a forum post and click to see the comments, the post vanishes for a second, then comes back with the comments. This is not a cliche lag, but a lag that lasts for a second, and it happens every time I write a comment in this subreddit. It's as if you click the comments button, and the post itself is sent to a server for a second to compare the user ID with the message, then comes back and posts the comments. It almost feels like the comments are actually information the government is trying to censor, but it's not.
