Is anyone else terrified about the future of work?

I understand the idea of utopia and how AI could bring people together and create a world where we all live like kings and work together so we’re all just happy. <br><br>But what’s stopping companies from just cutting all their jobs and running on AI? Can the government really control that? I know the US system of government is a joke. The government is in control of big corporations. That’s why they constantly break laws and people don’t get charged with anything. <br><br>I don’t understand. I’m just so scared about the future because I know the government won’t be able to stop it. It’s like 5 years before we’re all just screwed right?
